VENEERS
Veneers can help brighten front teeth that have permanent stains or discoloration that can't be whitened. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that the dentist affixes to the teeth in a simple, comfortable procedure that requires just a few appointments. (From ADA Pamphlet)
WHITENING
There are many options for whitening.
You can have custom trays made. The bleach goes inside the trays and
you leave it in for 2 hours once a day. These trays can be used over
and over and can be adjusted whenever necessary. When you run out of
bleach from your starter kit you can purchase a touch up kit.
Another option is a system called Tres White. This system consists of disposal trays that have the bleach already in them. This system stays in your mouth for one hour and can be manually formed to the grooves in your teeth.
A third option is Chair Side bleaching. This is a process that is done in the office by Dr. White. The bleach used in this process is cured with a light and is much stronger than any take home bleaching system.
CROWNS/BRIDGEWORK
Most crowns can now be done in one 2 hour visit. Dr. White
has the technology to mill all porcelain crowns, inlays, and onlays right
in the office as you wait. See Cerec option.
When a porcelain (Cerec) restoration is not an option, Dr. White can do a traditional
lab processed crown or bridge. These usually consist of 2 or more visits, depending
on the restoration. Ask Dr. White for more information pertaining to your oral
health situation.
